Weaving Assets for Equity in Early Childhood: An Equity Strategy for State Early Care and Education Leader.

Weaving Assets for Equity in Early Childhood is an organizational-change framework that combines Appreciative Inquiry+Equity to support early care and education systems and organizations address increasing challenges related to demographic changes. Weaving Assets engages state and local leaders in identifying their strengths and assets, and in raising awareness of the status of dual language learners and Latiné child care providers in their state, city or community. At the end of the process, state and local leaders will elevate their willingness to collaboratively implement policies and strategies proven to narrow equity gaps that impact this population of children and providers.
